The army handed back the keys in 2023. The future of this place is to be invented, and things are already happening.
The interim period
During the interim period, all opportunities may arise! This centrally located site is unique. The buildings are in good condition and many spaces are available for rental over a period of three to five years.
Some of the spaces and buildings are now used by the State Secretary for Migration to accommodate asylum seekers, others by Canton Fribourg for the same purpose; this situation, however, is temporary.
